How to Book
Initial consultations may be booked over the phone or via email. Face-to-face follow-up consultations may be booked online, over the phone, or via email.

Deposit
A deposit of $300 is required for all new patient bookings and a deposit of $150 is required for all follow-up bookings.
Under normal circumstances, initial consultations cannot be performed via Telehealth. However, if the doctor deems Telehealth is appropriate, the fee is the same as that for a face-to-face consultation and must be paid in full at the time of booking. Follow-up Telehealth consultations must also be paid in full at the time of booking.
Fees
The consultation fee is dependent on the perceived complexity of each case, and the amount of additional work the doctor deems may be necessary.
Prof Carolyn Ellaway
For Prof Ellaway, the fee for an initial consultation is generally between $510 and $615. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $350.
The fee for a follow-up consultation with Prof Ellaway is generally between $305 and $450. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $225 to $315.
Prof Dominic Fitzgerald
For Prof Fitzgerald, the fee for an initial consultation is generally between $510 and $615. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $350.
The fee for a follow-up consultation with Prof Fitzgerald is generally between $250 and $300. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $170.
If a lung function test is required during a follow-up appointment, an additional fee of $60 applies. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $40.
Other Doctors
For our other doctors, the fee for an initial consultation is generally between $480 and $600. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $325.
The fee for a follow-up consultation with our other doctors is generally between $305 and $360. After Medicare rebate (if applicable), the gap is approximately $225.
Please note that we are not a bulk-billing practice.
Wait Times
Please note that the typical wait time for new patients is at least three months. To allow us to triage, and to bring forward urgent appointments when we receive a cancellation, please send us a referral at the time of booking.
